As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by identifying opportunities, building connections, and closing deals in the residential and/or commercial roofing sector.

Job Summary:
As an Outside Roofing Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, conducting on-site assessments, presenting roofing solutions, and closing sales deals. You'll work closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure a seamless sales process and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Prospecting and Lead Generation:

    • • Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including  leveraging personal network, door-to-door canvassing, networking events, and referrals.

      • Collaborate with marketing to leverage lead generation initiatives and campaigns.

  • On-Site Assessments:

    • • Conduct thorough on-site assessments of residential and commercial properties to understand roofing needs and provide accurate estimates.

      • Clearly communicate the benefits of our roofing solutions and answer client inquiries.

  • Sales Presentations:

    • • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the needs of the customer.

      • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our roofing services and differentiate us from competitors.

  • Relationship Building:

    • • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, insurance adjusters and independent inspectors.

      • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Sales Negotiation and Closing:

    • • Close sales, achieve monthly and quarterly targets, and contribute to the overall revenue goals of the company.

  • Market Research:

    • • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

      • Provide feedback to the management team to enhance our offerings and stay competitive.
        
        

Qualifications:

• • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the roofing or construction industry, is preferred.

  • Ability to climb ladder and walk on roofs 10-40 feet above the ground is required

  • Ability to carry 50-lbs is required

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills is required

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

  • Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry trends is a plus, but not required
